May 2011: "A fairytale"

Once upon a time...

I was lying in my bed before I went to sleep and imagined how nice it would be if there was a beautiful woman, who beautifully played the cello with all her heart. Someone who could feel my music and express it from out of the same depth...

And there she was, my dream come true, my miracle, the same week... all the way from Russia, I met this wondrous woman. She became my wonder cellist and can play anything I ask her, and even better than imagined.

I am deeply grateful she will be accompanying me in concerts and recordings.

Her name...Maya !
